Two more deaths linked to coronavirus have been confirmed at hospitals on Merseyside.
New NHS figures show both were at facilities overseen by Liverpool University Hospital Foundations Trust, which runs the Royal, Aintree and Broadgreen hospitals.
The deaths were registered on July 30 and August 2, but only included in figures released to the public on Thursday.
The tragic update means that Liverpool's hospital Covid-19 death toll has grown by four this week.
On Monday, two further deaths were confirmed at the same trust.

They had been registered to June 16 and August 16.
The total number of Merseyside hospital deaths related to the disease now stands at 1,117.
A further 139 deaths have also been confirmed at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust.
The true scale of tragedy in the region will be far higher, with the NHS updates only confirming coronavirus-linked deaths that have taken place in hospital.
Many more have died in other settings, including care homes.
The latest hospital deaths were announced amid rising infection rates on Merseyside.
Data from Public Health England confirmed 267 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the five boroughs of the region in the last week of August.
The total deaths attributed to each NHS trust in the region since the beginning of the pandemic are:

- Liverpool University Hospitals: 482
- Mersey Care: 3
- Southport and Ormskirk: 151
- St Helens and Knowsley: 209
- The Walton Centre: 10
- Warrington and Halton: 139
