STRIKE force detectives working to dismantle an alleged fraud syndicate have seized a stolen excavator and a caravan as part of a Central Coast raid.
Strike Force Forth detectives began investigating the acquisition and use of fraudulent credit cards in May. Those inquiries led them to examine a March car dealership break-in Kariong.
Police said they suspected the incident, in which three Holden Commodores were stolen by unknown persons, had links to the alleged syndicate.
A 45-year-old man was arrested earlier this week and charged with several offences.
That investigation led to a search at a rural property outside Macksville on Thursday. Police will allege they found property bought with fraudulent credit cards.
They also found allegedly stolen items including a caravan, an excavator, items of industrial sites, a motorcycle, farming equipment and other items.
Investigations are ongoing and further arrests are expected, police said on Friday.
