Police have issued a further appeal for information following the death of a man in Co Armagh.

Michael Kirk, 40, died after he was found lying in the middle of the road with head injuries in the Blaney Road area of Crossmaglen on Sunday, August 23.

It is believed that Mr Kirk was involved in a traffic collision.

Officers investigating his death say that they are keen to speak to anyone who was walking or driving in the Crossmaglen and Blaney Road area, especially between the hours of 3.30am to 4.30am to contact them.

They are particularly keen to speak with anyone that may have dashcam footage or mobile phone recordings.

Inspector Darren Hardy said: "We are keen for anyone with information, or who can recall seeing Michael to contact us so we can piece together his movements prior to the collision.

"The investigation is ongoing and if you have any information or dashcam footage that could assist our enquiries, please contact police in Newry on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 515 23/08/20."
