'Furious' Tom Cruise 'calls security after intruders gate crash Mission Impossible set'

Tom Cruise was forced to call security on the Mission Impossible film set after a gang on intruder's gatecrashed the production, it’s been reported.

The Hollywood star, 58, is currently shooting the long-anticipated action movie in Yorkshire after filming was postponed on more than one occasion due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since production restarted earlier this year, the Ethan Hunt actor has thrown himself into his craft.

Despite this, it appears as though the streak of bad luck surrounding the production has continued as a gang of intruders made their way onto the busy set this weekend.

The action movie heartthrob has been busy shooting dangerous stunts on a vast quarry location for a number of days now, but the set has felt overly crowded as thrill-seekers have made their way to watch the drama unfold.

It all got a bit too much for Tom, according to The Sun, and the actor was forced to call security to escort the spectators off the set.

A film insider told the publication: “The set is so large and open that it has been impossible to close it all off.

“So, trespassers have been getting in and attempting to scale the rigs and equipment set up for the stunts.

“It is a health-and-safety nightmare. Police were called to one incident last week and then Tom was forced to take action when it happened again.”

The film whiz went on to reveal that the situation escalated when the cast spotted two intruders clambering up the set, which meant security had to rush to help them down.
