Furious residents have complained after a fair caused roads to be overtaken by cars.
Visitors of Hull fair have been flooding into the area with their cars, leaving residents unable to park outside of their own homes.
Despite some of the roads having restricted parking hours or requiring a permit, HullLive reports that visitors are abandoning their cars on double yellow lines and pavements.
There is a park and ride service that takes people to and from the fair, which would mean that visitors do not clog up the roads.
There is also the option for people who live in Hull and East Yorkshire to use public transport instead of driving, which will also mean they can avoid fines for parking illegally.
This has meant that locals are unable to find parking when coming home from work, leaving them very frustrated.
One resident said: "I understand there's lots of people coming to the fair, but to block people in or abandon your car on double yellows is just inconsiderate. People live here."
Another person said: "Parking is ridiculous. When you come home from an 11 hour shift and just drive round and round looking for a space.
"It's really frustrating riding round trying to get a space down the street where you live. There's a car park just down the road."
The fair is open until late into the evening, meaning cars are being parked outside homes until 10pm.
A fourth resident commented: "It's the same every year, but this year is one of the worst. People ignore the signs and just dump their cars wherever they want.
"I pay for a permit and can't even get close to my house."
There are several signs signalling directions to car parks around the fair - some of which are located down the crammed streets and cost just £5 - but these are being ignored.
"Saturday night has probably been the worst it has ever been so far over the 34 years of living in my house," one person said.
"Not one had a permit, very annoying when I have to pay £22 a year for a permit because of the stadium," another noted.
