Furious Love Island fans complain to Ofcom after Faye screams at Teddy in explosive rant

Love Island fans have complained to Ofcom over Faye Winter's expletive-ridden rant at Teddy Soares after she watched a clip of him saying he was sexually attracted to one of the new girls in Casa Amor.

Things kicked off in last night's episode when Teddy was shown flirting with Clarisse Juliette during old footage from Casa Amor, and telling her that he is “technically single”.

The pair were also seen kissing during a dare and Teddy admitted he was “sexually attracted” to her.

Faye flew into a rage at Teddy after watching the the clip and accused him of lying to her about what happened in Casa Amor.

Teddy hit back - saying nothing happened between him and Clarisse - and pointed out he slept outside the whole time he was there.

Faye loudly screamed at him as the bemused islanders looked and then refused to speak to him.

Teddy then pulled her aside for a chat where he tried to explain himself but Faye was having none of it and called time on their romance.

She said: “Regardless of what was shown or said, I know my worth and this is done. I’m glad that screen came out tonight, it tells me a lot about you.”

Teddy replied: “If you don’t want to believe that I give a s**t about you… I’m less p**sed off about what you saw, and I’m more p**sed off about the way that you’ve reacted.”

Faye then fired back: “I’m done with this conversation. If you wanna speak about my reaction based on your actions, you can f**k off. My reaction was only based on your f**king actions, so f**k off.”

After the episode aired many viewers said they sided with Teddy and had complained to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom.

One viewer tweeted: “My first ever complaint to Ofcom what I just watched was horrendous. Mental health needs to be taken seriously Faye needs help.”

“Made my first ever (and hopefully last) ofcom complaint on Faye Winter for giving Teddy emotional distress this whole season,” another wrote.

A third added: "What happened on love island last night was totally uncalled for. Especially for the mental health of Teddy. He honestly did not deserve it at all. Justice for teddy."

A fourth added: "Don’t normally want anything to do with Ofcom - have never ever complained but after watching tonight’s episode of Love Island, a complaint was necessary. So uncomfortable to watch."

The Mirror has contacted Ofcom for comment. The broadcasting watchdog is expected to release figures next week.
