Furious Katie Price says she'd NEVER drink and drive after court conviction

Katie Price reacted furiously to a question about drinking and driving, after she was cleared of the charge at a trial in February.

The mum of five was convicted of being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle , after her bright pink Range Rover was found damaged and crashed in a bush in south-east London following a boozy night out with Kris Boyson last October.

She was sentenced to a three-month ban and told to pay costs towards her magistrates court fees.

But appearing today on Channel 5's Jeremy Vine show, Katie was angry when the host asked her about "the drink-driving stories" in an interview about her recent press appearances.

"No, it wasn't drink-driving, I was drunk in charge of a car - it's completely different from drink-driving," she hit back.

"It's a keyless car, you can even open it from outside the car, so they got me even though I was in the back of the car," she said, explaining that the key had been in her handbag.

"I've never been done for drink-driving. I would never drink and drive."

Katie, who was joined by her sick mum Amy Price on the Channel 5 show, also revealed she had "a few" targets she'd like to shoot at in a conversation about the video allegedly showing British soldiers firing at a picture of Jeremy Corbyn .

"I would target people I'd like to do it to, but if you're being filmed it's going to get out," she said.

"[Who are] the targets? Oh just a few, not today though - I'm not here to cause trouble. I'll keep my mouth shut for once."

Katie also hit back about 'fake' stories about her antics, claiming "no human has time to do everything they accuse me of", before admitting that her career relies on staying in the spotlight.

"I have put myself out there, I do reality shows so I'm actually not complaining at all. The stuff they write about every day, how would I have time to do it all?" she added.

"I've got nothing to hide, there's nothing anyone can stitch me up on."
