Furious Hearts fans in Ann Budge and Robbie Neilson Tynecastle protest after Brora Rangers embarrassment

Angry Hearts supporters have gathered outside Tynecastle to call for Robbie Neilson and Ann Budge to leave the club.

Fans have gathered in the capital following the Jambos humbling Scottish Cup loss to Brora Rangers who hadn’t played a competitive game in 10 weeks and had only had five training sessions.

Despite tipping the Championship table, fans have been disappointed in displays from the side in recent weeks that have been capped off by the shock exit.

Neilson and the players will be looking to get back to winning ways in the capital today against Queen of the South.

The gathered crowd were waving banners stating "we deserve better" and calling for boss Neilson and chief Budge to leave the capital side. Some were also plastered on the outside of the stadium.

A banner was also displayed urging Budge and bizarrely former boss Craig Levein walk away.

Earlier this week, the Hearts released a statement urging fans to stay home.

It read: "We do not need to remind anyone that we are still in the midst of worldwide pandemic during which our focus has at all times been on ensuring the safety and security of everyone at Tynecastle.

"Nor do we need to remind you that it is unlawful for crowds to gather in public places due to current Covid restrictions.

"We must, therefore, urge all fans, in the strongest possible manner, not to congregate at Tynecastle Park on Saturday."
