A grandmother was left so outraged over "sexually explicit" sweets at a seaside shop that she complained to the police and an MP.
Pensioner Susan Radford was shocked by what she found on sale "within children's reach" - multi-coloured "foot-long" rock sweets shaped like penises.
The sweets were variously titled 'Rock C***' and 'Big Boy'.
She claims the police "got quite shirty" and told her the sweets weren't against the law during her quest to have them removed, but she vowed: "I'm not giving up."
Susan told HullLive that she took her grandchildren into the candy store when they visited Bridlington, East Yorkshire, during the half-term break.
Susan, a former nurse from Market Weighton, said: "Why should children be getting exposed to that?"

"They are getting too sensitised.
"Don't put them on the seafront in a big twirly-coloured rock shop."
She said she didn't approach the shop at the time and hasn't found contact details since.
Susan added: "I was going to tell them off but the girls behind the counter were only about 15 or 16 years old."
She has, however, contacted a number of different people or agencies in the last few days to find out if the "pornographic sweets" can be removed.

She contacted the police, Trading Standards, the local council, and MP Greg Knight's staff.
Susan said: "The police got quite shirty and said it isn't against the law, so there's nothing they can do about it.
"My point is that it would not be ok if kids were taken to a pornographic shop where that sort of thing may be expected, so why is it ok to have that in a sweet shop on the seafront?
"When I was young, they'd have been interested, but now it seems anything goes."
Susan also contacted a local Anglican church and a rival rock sweet store in Bridlington to share her outrage.
She was so upset she doesn't plan to visit Bridlington again.
"I don't want to go there," she said.
"Don't buy sweets in this Bridlington shop because of what you will be confronted with.
"I'm not giving up."
