'Furious' Gareth Bale pulls out of Real Madrid's trip to Germany after China move collapse

Gareth Bale has pulled out of Real Madrid's trip to Munich for a pre-season tournament, following the collapse of his proposed move to China.

It is understood Bale is not in the right mental state to play after Real president Florentino Perez pulled the plug on his £1m-a-week move to Jiangsu Suning on the weekend.

Reports suggest that the Welshman is "furious" with Perez and Real manager Zinedine Zidane over their treatment of him.

Zidane has made it clear that Bale is not part of his plans, only for the Real president to call off a move to China at the last minute after deeming Bale too valuable to leave without a considerable fee.

It's understood however, despite the U-turn on Perez's part, that Bale has not been offered any explanation over the decision or any reassurances on his future at the club.

That decision has left Bale in limbo, with the Telegraph claiming that sources close to Bale think that an alternative move is unlikely to materialise this summer.

Indeed, Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett, who has previously called Zidane a "disgrace" over his treatment of his client, told Omnisport on Monday that a move away from Los Blancos is unlikely.

When asked if Bale would remain at Madrid, Barnett said: "Yes."

And when probed whether there were any other potential moves for the four-time Champions League winner, Barnett responded: "I don't think so."
