A man's front teeth have been left shattered after a furious driver 'punched through his car window' in a horrific road rage attack.
Michael McDonald was driving with his partner and younger brother in the car on a Belfast motorway on June 11, when a car forced them to a halt but the driver reportedly emerged from his vehicle and attacked him.
He claims the "complete stranger" punched through his driver side window before punching him in the face a total of three times before driving away.
The attack shattered McDonald's two front teeth and caused him facial injuries.
According to Belfast Live, Michael said: "My partner had said to a driver that came up alongside us about talking on his phone and he then chased us up the motorway, before getting in front of me and doing emergency stops in order to force me to stop.
"He then got out of the car and started punching my window until it smashed, where he then hit me three times. My front two teeth completely shattered in my mouth.

"I have no idea who it was, they were a complete stranger, but I did manage to see what car they were driving."
Michael said the attacker was driving a dark silver Vauxhall Astra and had brown hair and was in his mid 30s with a slim build and approximately 5 foot 8.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on the M2 Foreshore on Friday 11th June at 09:45 am. During the incident a driver was assaulted in the carriage by another male who left the scene in what’s believed to be a grey Vauxhall Astra. If you witnessed the incident or have dash cam footage please contact Police on 101 and quote incident number 503 of 11/06/2021."
