Furious Dave Cormack slams Sky Sports for trying to 'humiliate' Aberdeen

Angry Dave Cormack has urged Sky Sports to issue Aberdeen an apology in the wake of a pre-match promo they showed before Sunday's clash with Celtic.

The broadcaster aired a 22-goal salute that showed all of the Hoops' goals during their eight consecutive wins at Pittdorie that stretched four years before yesterday's pulsating 3-3 draw.

But Aberdeen fans were left miffed with the segment that was shared by Sky's social media channels before the build-up from the Granite City.

And Cormack has vented on Twitter and has claimed the SPFL 's broadcaster are selling the game short after saluting the Premiership champions.

Speaking on social media, he said: "Really disappointed at Sky. To spend all week creating a one-sided promo that tries to humiliate any club goes against Sky’s commitment to help promote & grow the SPFL.

"Thanks for the motivation & for showing our 3 goals today! By the way team name is spelt ABERDEEN! Apology on its way?"

The American-based businessman is steely focused on events at Aberdeen and has been campaigning relentlessly to allow his side to stage more test events to allow supporters to return to Scottish football.
