The Fudge bar is returning to Cadbury Christmas selection boxes this year.
Fudge was removed from the selection box lineup in 2017 to be replaced by the newer Dairy Milk Oreo bar - and shoppers were not happy.
The decision has now been reversed as the Oreo bar is replaced with Fudge, reports the Mirror .
A Cadbury spokesperson said: “Following feedback from our consumers we have decided to bring back the original selection this Christmas which will include the much loved Cadbury Fudge”.
At the time the move to remove Fudge from the medium selection boxes sparked outrage from shoppers.
Cadbury said it wanted “to improve the mix and offer more of a variety for our fans”.
Fudge fans did not take the news well, with many taking to Twitter to vent their frustration.
Mark Atwood tweeted: “Christmas is ruined”, while Louise Wheeler said: “OMG, just heard #Cadbury have changed fudge for Oreo dairy milk, what are you thinking? Have you lost your mind @CadburyUK , it’s the best bit.”
The Fudge will return to its rightful place alongside the Curly Wurly, Milk Buttons, Crunchie and Double Decker in Cadbury’s medium selection boxes.
