Furious Coleen Rooney has demanded that husband Wayne Rooney fly home to the UK immediately - even if it risks him breaking his multimillion-pound football contract.
The long-suffering WAG was spotted crying on the phone as she jetted out to the States to confront her errant husband after pictures emerged of him following a mystery brunette into a hotel lobby after a reported seven-hour boozing sesh with his teammates.
Wearing a red and white striped shirt, black leggings and loafers - and with her wedding ring firmly back on her finger after taking it off - Coleen looked stony-faced as she strode through the airport on her way out to Washington DC.
She clasped her phone to her face as she made her way to the check-in desk, and at one point appeared to be crying as she made a call.
Coleen will spend the next few days in DC as she reads Wayne the riot act over his latest indiscretion, which comes after years of him being pictured with other women after boozy exploits.
"Coleen went ballistic at Wayne for being so stupid again. She knows women are all over him on nights out so pleaded with him to stay out of trouble," one insider told the Sun .
"But Wayne gets bored and follows the crowd. Coleen knew he was out that night but he missed out telling her about putting his arms around a woman in a nightclub and going back to his hotel with another.
"It makes her feel totally foolish - especially when he's vowed to start putting his family first," they added.
Coleen has reportedly instructed her husband to tear up his football contract and return home to the UK with her and their four sons - Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three and 18-month old Cass.
He would face paying a penalty if he broke his contract before the end of the season, which is due to finish with DC's final match on October 7.
"They are so much happier at home and she just wants him to tell them to shove it," the source added.
It comes after years of strife for the couple, fuelled by Wayne's partying ways.
When he was arrested for drink-driving back in September 2017 - in the company of party girl Laura Simpson - Coleen later admitted she came close to ending their marriage .
In a lengthy and passionate statement shortly after the scandalous incident, she said: "Wayne doesn't get portrayed for the person he is in the press, he has always had a hard time...
"He's made silly and selfish mistakes, some he's learnt from, some obviously not. However maybe that will change?
"In life, you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. But one thing I do know is that too much alcohol on a night out is a dangerous and a lot of stupid mistakes are made and things are said under the influence.
"I would never trust ANYONE who has had a lot of alcohol, it changes some people drastically."
