Furious Celtic fans in Neil Lennon Parkhead protest as they call for manager to go after Betfred Cup shocker

Celtic fans have started to gather at Parkhead to protest after their team's limp 2-0 defeat to Ross County saw them dumped out of a cup for the first time since 2016.

And pictures have emerged on social media showing fans beginning to register their displeasure at the result and manager Neil Lennon outside the stadium.

They do so despite strict measures against gathering with multiple households being in place during the pandemic.

The pressure has been building on the Hoops manager after a shocking run of form that has seen the Hoops win only two of their last 10 games.

Many supporters have taken to social media in recent weeks to express their unhappiness at the job the Irishman has done this term.

They were put out of the Champions League by Hungarian side Ferencvaros at the start of the season and although they qualified for the group stage of the Europa League the team is already out after four games.

In the league they remain 11 points behind bitter rivals Rangers and although they have two games in hand, the tension to achieve Ten In A Row means there is little margin for error.
