Furious BGT fans brand Alesha Dixon 'bitter' after 'slating' 77-year-old drummer

Britain's Got Talent fans furiously slammed Alesha Dixon this evening after she criticised 77-year-old drummer Chrissy Lee.

The rock-n-roll drummer, who supported the Beatles on tour, performed on the ITV show this evening and even levitated in the air while playing her drums to Nirvana.

Afterwards, the judges gave their opinion and while Alesha pointed out that she was having the "time of her life", she criticised the timing issues.

Alesha said: "If I'm being honest, for me there were a lot of timing issues and it just wasn't my cup of tea tonight -"

"I couldn't hear anything," Chrissy said.

"You couldn't hear anything?" Alesha repeated. "Ah, ok fair enough. But the most important thing is that you're proof that it doesn't matter how old you are, you can still do the things that you love."

But some fans took issue to Alesha's critique and took to Twitter to comment.

One tweeted: "There was no justice in the granny drummer because of the poor soundtrack through the tv. Alesha can’t handle rock drumming and needs education. #chrisslee #BGT."

While another fumed: "Why is Alesha Dixon so bitter all of the time?! #bgt."

A third wrote: "P*** off Alesha. It was variety and that's what matters. Since when did you know anything about drumming #BGT."

Another raged: "#bgt not Alesha's cup of tea ......i'd listen to this granny over Alesha's music any day!"
