Aye, right.
It grinds our gears - with everyone from Limmy to Kevin Bridges calling it out - but often we can *quite* pinpoint why it is so frustrating.
Until now. Thanks to Twitter user Charlie, we have a handful of creative ways to describe the infamous voice adopted by west end students.
And it's like, totally hilarious, right?
In the video, Charlie tries to explain the GUA to an English person - and calls out the accent for sounding like "the voice version of scraping the burnt bits off your toast" and a "Scottish accent with a monocle and mustache".
And our favourite: "Imagine the 'disgustin' voice = now completely reverse it."
