Funny exchange around Draymond Green and new teammate Jordan Poole

When the Golden State Warriors drafted Michigan Wolverines star Jordan Poole with the 28th pick in the first round of the NBA Draft, most people were talking about how Poole will likely be tasked with trying to fill Klay Thompson’s role as a two-way shooting guard. However, those of us familiar with the rivalry between the Spartans and Wolverines had a different reaction: how will Jordan Poole, a Michigan guy, fare on the same team with Draymond Green, one of the most prideful Michigan State alumni.

It seems like the team was also concerned about how Draymond might treat Poole, with Andre Iguodala hilariously tweeting this out a few days ago:

Fortunately for Poole, it looks like Draymond has already accepted his new rookie, despite his university allegiances:

I am sure that this relationship will provide much more entertainment in the future. Poole will have a tough role this year on the Warriors where he will likely be called upon to possibly start for an injured Klay Thompson to start the season.
