Phillip Schofield gets his words in a muddle on This Morning
Phillip Schofield made an early entry for “live TV gaffe of the year” when he blurted out the word “d***” instead of “dig” on This Morning.
Telling viewers about an upcoming interview with Rita Ora, Schofield brightened up the Monday morning rundown by telling viewers to “get ready to d*** out”.
He immediately clasped his hands over his mouth while Holly Willoughby fell about in hysterics. Fans of the show hailed the moment “telly gold”.
Piers Morgan chases Janet Street-Porter around Loose Women studio for a hug
Piers Morgan swapped Good Morning Britain for Loose Women when he joined the lunchtime ladies to chat about his then-upcoming Life Stories interview with Pamela Anderson.
But he was less than welcomed by journalism stalwart Janet Street-Porter, who ran away from him as he went in to for a hug. Morgan then chased the hug-phobic panellist around the studio before admitting defeat.
Declan Donnelly dresses up as Kylie during Saturday Night Takeaway
During the End of the Show Show from the Princess of Pop, Donnelly pulled out all the stops with his costume and donned a gold minidress.
Relaxing on the bar, he twerked suggestively before kicking his bare legs in the air.
Hayley Hughes on Brexit
As with most conversations between Brits this year, conversation among the new pals soon turned to Brexit. And model Hayley had an important question - does that mean there won’t be any trees?
Turns out she actually said cheese. And when she was out of the villa, Hayley sat down with Nigel Farage to learn about Britain’s ever-confusing exit from the European Union next year.
Alexandra’s mum savaging Dr Alex on Love Island
Love Island fans were jubilant after Dr Alex was roasted by Alexandra’s mum during the Meet the Parents episode, after she had to watch her daughter be messed around by the medic.
Janice blasted the doctor for “expecting her daughter to be grateful when he picked her” and then wondering why she was “grumpy with him”.
She also told Alexandra how she had to “pull herself back” when she watched him in action.
Sir David Attenborough telling Naga Munchetty off because he wants to talk about butterflies
Britain’s favourite naturalist backed The Big Butterfly Count, urging residents to count the flying insects, but an interview about the project was somewhat hijacked on BBC Breakfast.
Presenter Munchetty asked Attenborough about his meeting with the Queen, leaving the 92-year-old unimpressed as he retorted: "I want to talk about butterflies. That’s why you asked me here."
Holly and Phil do Baby Shark
The popular This Morning duo paid homage to catchy viral song Baby Shark (which is now in your head, sorry) by performing it at the opening of the show.
After the dance, Schofield hailed it as one of the weirdest openings they’d ever done while viewers shared videos and pictures of their excited children giggling along.
Alison Hammond chucking a poor sailor into freezing water during anniversary episode
When This Morning turned 30 in October, they sent Alison Hammond back to Liverpool where it all began and put her in charge of the floating weather map that was back for one day only.
All was going swimmingly until Hammond tried to jump from Wales to Ireland and pushed an unsuspecting sailor into the freezing water in the Albert Docks. Holly and Phil were in hysterics. Hammond was in hysterics. Fans were in hysterics.

During week 10 of the BBC competition, the remaining seven couples faced the Lindy Hop-A-Thon with all the couples on the floor at the same time.
When it came to announcing the scores, the digital score sheet went “berserk” and head judge Ballas was forced to resort to an old-fashioned piece of paper to read out the rankings. But things went from bad to worse for Ballas who mixed up the placings and even got one of the couple’s names wrong.
It really comes to something when Bruno Tonioli is the voice of reason, but that’s exactly what happened.
Holly Willoughby cowers behind Dec as she gets to grips with I’m A Celeb
Before jetting off to Australia, Willoughby was up front about being scared of “everything that moves” but the presenter managed to keep her cool in the Bushtucker Trial area right up until the last day when Emily Atack was forced to wear a helmet of critters.
After Atack had completed her trial, the bugs scurried towards Willoughby after being released causing the This Morning presenter to cower behind Declan Donnelly for protection while squealing.
