Parents in Northern Ireland would be earning around £200,000 a month if they were paid for all the roles they carry out in the home.
Taking the average salary of each area, researchers discovered the unpaid roles of chef, cleaner, nurse, PA, psychologist, taxi driver, teacher and laundry worker, would be lucrative if they were salaried.
And on Mother's Day, plenty of mums may be wondering just how valuable their home efforts are.
So if you were being paid for being all those jobs parents do, how much would you be earning?

funkypigeon.com created a tool to work it out after identifying eight tasks that parents spend their time doing for their kids, and found the closest professional equivalent of that task.
