A new 'poké bowl' pop-up is set to get taste-buds watering this week as it arrives in Leith.

Mana Poké Bowls have announced they will be making an appearance under the Leith Arches selling a range of traditional Hawaiian dishes.

The popular food features a range of different combinations of vegetables and fish with a range of rices and sauces.

Alongside fish and seafood, there will also be vegetarian and gluten free options available.

One of the most popular dishes, the 'classic bowl', will feature a choice of sashimi grade fish with a classic tamari & sesame sauce, asian style slaw, pickled cucumber & radish, chopped roasted peanuts, furikake seasoning, spring onion, sesame seeds, that is then served over warm sushi rice.

With a 'build-your-own-bowl' feature, the street food stand will allow customers to personalise their own dinner as well as a list of classic bowls to choose from.

Mana Bowls have already proved popular in Edinburgh after appearances at the Neighbourhood Market in Stockbridge as well as Leith Market.

Pronounced poh-kay, the bowls will be available from October 16 until November 29, with the stall open from 11-4pm.

Priced at around £8.50 per bowl, you can find them Under the Arch at 99 Leith Walk for sit-in or collection.
