Funeral details for Wicklow dad Philip Doyle, 33, who died in stabbing incident announced

A tragic dad-of-three who died in a stabbing incident will be laid to rest in his native Wicklow this weekend.

Philip Doyle, 33, who was from Bray but lived at Ramsgate Village in Gorey, Co Wexford, died after receiving stab wounds in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

Gardai received reports of an incident in the estate shortly before 2am.

On arrival, Mr Doyle, was found in the front garden of the home with stab wounds.

His wife Sarah Doyle, 31, has since been charged over his death.

She was accused under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act of producing a knife capable of inflicting a serious injury.

A death notice for Mr Doyle on RIP.ie reads: "Sadly missed by his loving children Hannah, Brodie and Braxson, heartbroken parents Jackie and David, brother Shane, sisters Rachel and Emma, brothers-in-law David and Mick, sister-in-law Sinead, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends in Bray and Gorey."

Mr Doyle's Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning, February 4, at 11am in St. Fergal's Church, Ballywaltrim, Bray followed by cremation at 1pm in Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome Crematorium.
