A funeral for a tragic Cork woman who was found dead after going missing last Saturday will be held next week.
Mum Frankie Devlin, 67, from Ballinacurra, Midleton, Co Cork, had not been seen in the Garryvoe area since October 5.
After four days of extensive searches, her body was located and has now been removed for a post-mortem, Cork Beo reports.
It's believed she died in a tragic accident.
A death notice on RIP.ie reads: "Reunited with her deceased son Stevie D, her parents, sister Ger and brothers John and Pat.
"Sadly and lovingly missed by her children Aoife, Niamh, Killian, MacDaragh and Érin, sister Marie, brother in law Donie Twomey, sons-in-law Chris Leahy, Steven Leahy and Ivan Cronin, grandchildren Kate, Kyran, Kia and Abigail, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
"Frankie's family wish to express to everyone their thanks, appreciation and kindness at this very sad time."
A wake will be held in T.Wallis and Sons Funeral Home Riverside Way, Midleton, Co. Cork on Monday, October 14, from from 9.45am until 11am.
Her funeral service will be held at 11am in the same funeral home followed by cremation service at 1pm in The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
Her family have requested no flowers but mourners are welcome to make a donation to an Emergency, Search and Rescue Organisations of their choice.
