Funeral details announced for tragic teen who died after falling ill at school in Co Kildare

Funeral details have been announced for a teen who tragically died after falling ill at school in Co Kildare.

Ademidun (Ade) Adeleke, who attended Scoil Mhuire in Clane, died suddenly after falling ill in the school gymnasium.

The popular third year student was rushed to Crumlin Children's Hospital where he sadly died.

Scoil Mhuire said on Wednesday: "The whole school community at Scoil Mhuire, Clane, is deeply saddened by the sudden death of our third year student .

"We extend our sincere sympathy to Ade’s family, his parents Nike and Bayo, sister Eniola, brother Holly, his extended family and friends.

"May he rest in peace."

And now the tragic youngster's family have revealed his funeral service will take place at the Clane Parish Church at 10.30am on Saturday morning.

A post on RIP.ie read: "Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane on Friday from 4pm to 8pm, with prayers at 7pm.

"Removal on Saturday morning at 10am to arrive at Clane Parish Church for 10.30am Funeral Service, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

"Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to a family cause. Donation box in funeral home and church. House private please."
