The funeral details have been announced of tragic teen Jessica Moore
The popular youngster, 19, from Loughrea in Co Galway, sadly died at the Gullane Hotel, in Ballinasloe.
It is understood that she became ill in the early hours of the morning.
Her friends called an ambulance but despite desperate efforts by medics she was pronounced dead in hospital.
Gardai said they are probing the circumstances and said they will examine the case.
A source said: "Jessica took ill sometime after 2am, she said to her friends that she wasn't feeling well and then collapsed.
"Statements will be taken from other students at the event and anyone else that came in contact with Jessica. CCTV at the venue could also form part of the investigation."
And the tragic youngster's funeral details have now been announced.
In a post on RIP.ie, the family said: “To the inexpressible grief of her heartbroken parents Brendan & Catherine. Cherished & much-loved sister of Cian and Ali.
“Sadly missed by her devoted grandparents Stan & Laura Moore, forever remembered by her uncles, aunts, uncles-in-law, aunts-in-law, cousins, extended family, neighbours and her many, many friends.
“Jessica will lie in repose at Kilboy’s funeral home Loughrea (H62 KF63) this Wednesday 14th from 5 to 8 o’clock, followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Bullaun.
“Requiem Mass will be on Thursday at 1 o’clock in St Patrick’s Church Bullaun & then Jessica will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery."
