Funeral details have been announced for tragic Rafal “Ralph” Skora who died in a paragliding accident.
Ralph’s body was found at 8am on Sunday morning in the Ballinacor Estate in Wicklow, along with wreckage.
The Artane man, who was in his 30s, will repose at the Jennings Funeral Home on Friday followed by a cremation on Saturday afternoon.
A notice on RIP.ie said: “Skora Rafal (Poland, late of Artane) 12th May, passed away tragically. Beloved husband of Dominika; he will be sadly missed by his cherished children Jakub, Benjamin, and Julianna; his mother, father, brother, extended family, wide circle of friends and neighbours.
“Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock on Friday, 17th May, from 3pm to 6pm.
“Removal to Dardistown Crematorium on Saturday, 18th May, for 2pm Service.”
A GoFundMe campaign was launched to help raise funds for his funeral.
A statement on the site reads: "Rafal died in the Wicklow mountains.
"He didn't have any funeral insurance and his wife doesn't have access to his accounts.
"On Friday he posted on Facebook a wedding gift that he had found in the back of his taxi ..a voucher worth €500 .. he was trying to find the wedding venue to return it.
“Thats the sort of guy he was. He leaves a widow and three children.
"The last two under three. Kind, enthusiastic and honest."
