The funeral arrangements of Aoife Beary, a survivor of the Berkeley balcony collapse in 2015, have been confirmed.
The 27-year-old sadly passed away in Beaumont Hospital following a stroke, it has been reported.

The funeral mass will then take place on Friday morning at 10pm in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 12.40pm.
The notice reads: “peacefully on January 1st, 2022, after a brave battle with her injuries sustained in the Berkeley balcony collapse in California.
“Sadly missed by her loving parents Mike and Angela, her brother Tim, sister Anna, grand aunts, aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of wonderful friends.”
Aoife sustained serious injuries on June 16, 2015, whilst celebrating her 21st birthday in California with her friends.
A group of 13 were standing on a balcony when it gave way, causing them to fall 40 feet.
As a result of the incident, Aoife suffered a brain injury and several broken bones and lacerations to her organs, which meant she had to undergo open-heart surgery.
Irish students Eimear Walsh, Olivia Burke, Niccolai Schuster, Lorcán Miller, Eoghan Culligan, all aged 21, and Irish-American Ashley Donohoe (22) tragically died, while six others were left with life-changing injuries.
