An extended circle of family members, neighbours and friends are also in mourning.

She will be reposing at Michael Doyle Funeral Home in Finglas Village this Saturday between 3pm and 5pm with removal on Monday morning to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballymun.

The hearse will arrive for 10 o’clock funeral mass before the Dublin mam is laid to rest privately.

Investigations are still ongoing into Lisa's murder after a garda update today.

A man who handed murdered Lisa Thompson's ID into a station made contact with gardai following an appeal.

Officers were eager to make contact with a man in relation to their investigation into the Ballymun woman's murder.

A man has since come forward and is helping the investigation team. Gardai thanked the public for their help so far and asked for anyone with more information to come forward.

They said: ""Today, Wednesday 18th May 2022, following the public appeal a male has contacted the investigation team and this witness is currently assisting with An Garda Síochánas investigation.

"An Garda Síochána in Ballymun wish to thank the public for all their assistance so far in this investigation and continue to appeal to any person who may have any information on the murder of Lisa Thomson, and who has not yet contacted the investigation team, to now make urgent contact at Ballymun Garda station at 01 666 4400 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."

A vigil will take place for the mum-of-two outside Axis, an arts and community resource centre in Ballymun, on Friday evening.
