Fundraising page launched after Glasgow man 'found dead in house in Sandyhills'

A fundraising page has been set-up for a Glasgow man reportedly found dead on Sunday.

Rangers fan Stephen Adams, known as Stega, is believed to have passed away at a house on Balbeggie Street, Sandyhills .

Stephen's friend Craig Mcnally set up the Just Giving page yesterday.

He wrote: "Don't really know what to say but everyone is shocked and absolutely gutted by the sudden news that Stega has passed away.

"He was one of the genuine boys about and would help anyone with anything.

"I'm asking everyone that knew him to please help way a wee donation to help ease the funeral costs for his family.

"Doesn't matter how small it's the thought and the gesture that counts.

"He was one of the best boys we will ever have the pleasure of sharing our lives with."

The fundraising page has already raised over £1000 to pay for his funeral.

A pal is said to have discovered Stephen's body on Sunday and it is believed police are treating his death as "unexplained".
