A fundraiser has been launched for a family business after a Scots restaurant was gutted by a huge blaze.
The fire broke out at Italian restaurant Trattoria Guidi in Airdrie at around 1am on Wednesday morning, August 11.
Six fire engines raced to the scene with over 20 firefighters battling the inferno through the early hours of the morning.
Ricardo Guidi, whose father Carlo Guidi owns the restaurant, told the Daily Record the family has been left shocked by the fire.
The head chef revealed hoses were still being used to dampen the scorched building on Wednesday afternoon.

There was an outpouring of sadness from customers and the local community as the news broke of the incident.
Local MSP Neil Gray said: "I’m absolutely devastated that Trattoria Guidi has been destroyed by fire overnight.
"Guidi’s is an Airdrie institution and I’ve enjoyed so many lovely meals there. I hope nobody was hurt and my heart goes out to Carlo and the family as well as all the staff."
A fundraiser has been launched to help the business get back on its feet after the devastating fire.
Over £1,000 has already been raised since the GoFundMe was launched a day ago.
A message on the page read: "The long-established and successful Trattoria Guidi’s needs our support.
"Many of us have fond memories at this beautiful restaurant & due to the recent unfortunate and unforeseen fire to our local restaurant, the staff and owners would certainly appreciate our support to help staff and re-establish this restaurant that’s so close to our hearts."
Photos show the aftermath of the fire, which has completely destroyed part of the restaurant.
While some parts of the building have been reduced to rubble residents in the flat above the restaurant made it to safety.
