Fun-loving Perry is sniffing out new owners

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Perry who is currently living at Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre.

Perry is six years old and his carers say he is an affectionate and friendly boy who adores spending time with people.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Perry loves to be outside soaking up the sunshine and he would love to have a garden of his own where he can run around with his favourite squeaky toys or have a snooze.

"Perry would be happiest living with someone who is home throughout the day to help him settle in and provide plenty of love.

"Perry’s new owners will need to have experience with similar breeds and be able to walk him in quiet areas away from too many other dogs. Perry is happy to live with children aged 14 years old and above.

"While he adores meeting people, Perry can be uncomfortable around other dogs and he will need to be the only pet in the home."

If you think you could provide the perfect home for Perry call the centre on 01506 873459.
