Fuming woman turns car around after partner invites pals along on romantic getaway

A woman has been left absolutely fuming after she discovered that her boyfriend had invited his pals along on their romantic getaway.

The 30-year-old said that her partner, who she'd been going out for six months, had been annoying her to let his mates tag along to their trip - so much so that she initially called it off.

There were many reasons as to why she didn't want his friends on their trip, including that she was paying for the expenses and driving them all there.

She agreed to this and was looking forward to the trip.

However, things went south fairly quickly when she went to collect him from his house the morning they were due to depart.

The Mirror report that her story initially appeared on Reddit, where the unnamed girl wrote: "I came in my car and entered his neighborhood. However, when I saw him standing outside with his bag and his two friends were also standing there with their bags.

"I was shocked and furious. I didn't pull over I just turned around and kept driving and went back home. I saw him running after me in the rearview mirror. He then stopped and started calling me. I did not respond until I got home."

She continued: "He lashed out at me on the phone asking why the hell I turned around and left. I told him why and how I didn't appreciate how he basically tried to force me to take his friends with us after I said 'no' already.

"He called me awful and said that I ruined the entire thing for us and acted immaturely and spitefully. He said I could've just accepted it how it is but I told him that I would never accept being put in a situation where I'm expected to just 'suck it up'. He hung up after yelling at me for a few minutes."

He is now refusing to speak with her until she apologises and claims she "embarrassed" him in front of his friends.

One person commented: "You should not or ever talk to him again. Never let someone treat you like that ever again. He said what was important to him, his friends, when they were there after you said no. He then continued to emotionally abuse you."
