Full West Ham squad revealed for Premier League clash with Man City as four players to miss out

Gianluca Scamacca is unlikely to be handed his West Ham debut as the Hammers welcome Man City to the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

David Moyes' side start their Premier League campaign at home to reigning champions City and will be hoping to get off to a winning start for the second season in a row.

City were defeated 3-1 in the Community Shield last weekend and will be aiming to avoid two losses on the bounce to start the season, as well as putting some early breathing space between themselves and Liverpool after the Reds drew 2-2 with west London outfit Fulham on Saturday.

Hammers fans are unlikely to get a glimpse of Scamacca after Moyes confirmed the Italian is behind in terms of match fitness after not being available during pre-season.

Friday's signing Maxwel Cornet will also miss the tie after the former Burnley star was not signed before the deadline passed prior to the weekend fixture.

The last time the two sides met was at the back-end of last season, where Jarrod Bowen found the back of the net twice in the opening 45 minutes, only for Jack Grealish and a Vladimir Coufal own goal after the break saw the match finish 2-2.

Bowen is in the squad to face City, as is Coufal. But there is no room for summer addition Nayef Aguerd who will miss the opening few weeks after suffering an ankle injury in pre-season.

Angelo Ogbonna is also unavailable after he was with the Under-21s on Friday.

Below is the full list of players Moyes has to choose from to face Man City on Sunday afternoon.

Goalkeepers: Lukasz Fabianski, Alphonse Areola, Darren Randolph, Nathan Trott.

Defenders: Vladimir Coufal, Ben Johnson, Harrison Ashby, Kurt Zouma, Craig Dawson, Issa Diop, Jamal Baptiste, Aaron Cresswell.

Midfielders/wingers: Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Flynn Downes, Conor Coventry, Jarrod Bowen, Daniel Chesters, Manuel Lanzini, Nikola Vlasic, Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma, Armstrong Oko-Flex.

Forwards: Michail Antonio, Divin Mubama.
