Newcastle United forward Miguel Almiron has spoken about the mood within the squad as the busy festive run of games approaches.
Having registered his first assist for the club since moving to the Premier League back in January, Almiron is now targeting that first goal - although he's insists he's not 'beating' himself up over it.
In an interview with NUFC TV, Almiron talks about settling in at the club, appreciation for the fans and much more.
Here's the full transcript.
On settling at Newcastle United
I'm settled in very well.
The whole settling in process has gone very well and that's down to the help from my team-mates.
I feel very much at ease at the club and in the city itself. I'm very happy here - I've always said that.
All I do is try to bring a bit of myself and ability out onto the pitch.
On thanking the fans for their support
I also have to be grateful to the fans who have always been right behind me which is always a good thing for us players.
I'm happy and content here at Newcastle and I hope to carry on here for a long time to come.
On drawing with Manchester City
Yes it was a good result, against a difficult opponent. It was a hard-fought game, but I reckon that we put in a great performance.
The team is playing well right now and is improving - that's just how we need to keep going.
There's a good feeling in the group and that's very important for us.
The squad is very together and united as a group. We came back very well against a very tough side to play against a team packed with top quality players - I think that shows just what great character we have in the side, and the personality we have to be able to claw back the result.
We just have to continue in the same vain because we are very much on the right track.
On getting his first assist - and waiting for that first goal
I've been feeling like I've been in good form in recent games and I think both the team as a whole and my team-mates are helping me to improve.
I am very happy that I can I provide assists like this one [against Man City] for the team. I always try to do my best in every single game and bring what I can to the party so the team can keep doing well.
I just need to get that first goal but you know what's important - is that the team are playing well. Of course I'd love to get on the scoresheet and I'm really itching to score but I'm not beating myself up over it either.
The goals will come along whenever they do and it will be at the right moment.
I just try to give the best version of myself for the team and I think that is more important.
I scored one or two goals for my previous clubs and for Paraguay, I'm getting forward and scoring.
So I think when it comes, it will be a very happy day for Newcastle United supporters.
