Full Tottenham squad revealed for Sheffield United as Jose Mourinho receives boost

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has a near fully-fit squad to choose from for today's Premier League encounter with Sheffield United.

Spurs are looking for just their second win in seven league matches after hitting a difficult spell over the past few weeks.

Despite wins in the EFL Cup and FA Cup recently, Mourinho's side have been stuttering in the league and they start the day in sixth place in the league standings.

A win over the basement Blades could lift Tottenham up to third place, though, so it shows they are still very much in the race at the top.

Meanwhile, Chris Wilder's side picked up their first league win of the season last Tuesday when they defeated Newcastle United thanks to Billy Sharp's goal.

The result failed to lift them off the bottom of the table and despite their struggles so far this season, Mourinho insists it will be a stern test of his side's credentials.

"If you look to the table it’s one thing, but if you look to them, to the team, to the performances, it’s a completely different story," he said.

"Many, many times tables don’t reflect what the teams are, and in this case, for sure, it doesn’t reflect what the team is. Even their results... I don’t think there are many matches where they clearly lost.

"They are a team who play the way they did last season, with the same principles, the same threat they were. I don’t see many differences. Of course, the table is a huge difference in position with the number of points, but they are a very difficult team.”

Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso remains sidelined for Spurs due to a hamstring injury he picked up in the home defeat by Leicester City in December.

Steven Bergwijn should be back in contention, however, after missing the draw with Fulham last week because of illness.

Elsewhere, there are no other major injury concerns facing Mourinho so he has plenty of options to turn to as he attempts to blunt the Blades.

Here is the current squad in full.
