Full Tottenham squad revealed for Premier League clash with Manchester City

Tottenham are back in action this evening as they return from the international break with the first of a tough run of games to test their title credentials.

Jose Mourinho's men have made a fine start to the season, currently sitting just one point behind leaders Leicester City, but their next six league games will likely show just how equipped they are to put together a title charge.

Spurs take on Manchester City this evening before facing Chelsea, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Leicester.

First thing's first, Spurs must take care of business against Pep Guardiola's men, but as is often the case after the international break, Mourinho won't be helped by a number of injury concerns heading into the game.

Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez and Gedson Fernandes are all doubts, while Erik Lamela remains out. Mourinho revealed: "I am waiting for a couple of news, a couple of decisions, a couple of players I didn’t even see them yet coming back from their national teams.

"Winks arrived with a little problem that today I don’t know. Davinson Sanchez, I didn’t see him. Gedson, I didn’t see him. Lamela is still in the last period of his recovery. Apart from that, no problems."

There is good news on Son Heung-min, however, with the South Korean cleared to play following a coronavirus scare.

"He came back, he tested twice negative," Mourinho added. "He was Isolating, he followed the protocols and he is fine to play."

The same can't be said for Matt Doherty, who tested positive while on international duty and has been ruled out for this one.

Mourinho's update should give us an idea of Spurs' full squad to face Manchester City, though there are a number of uncertain factors.

Son will make the squad, while Lamela misses out, but things are less clear cut for Winks, Sanchez and Fernandes, who are all included in the squad below but could well miss out.

Elsewhere, Steven Bergwijn is in the frame despite being sent home by the Netherlands during the break, not deemed fit enough to play, and Tanguy Ndombele has fully recovered from a foot injury.
