Full Tottenham squad revealed for Leicester City clash as Ryan Mason confirms injury blow

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to secure a place in Europe for next season when they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on the final day of the Premier League season this afternoon, kick-off 4:00pm.

Spurs, who beat Leicester 5-4 in a nine-goal thriller on the final day of the season in 2018, will secure a spot in next season's UEFA Europa Conference League with a win, regardless of Arsenal's or Everton's results against Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City respectively.

Although the Europa Conference League appears to be a more realistic ambition, Spurs could still sneak into the Europa League if they win and West Ham United, who currently occupy sixth, lose at home to Southampton.

But for interim boss Ryan Mason, who watched his side suffer a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa on Wednesday evening, it is all about trying to end the season with three points and then see what the league table shows.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday lunchtime, Mason said: "We want to win and then we'll see where we end up. The first priority is to win.

"Unfortunately the other night damaged us, it's not in our control and we're disappointed with that. We need to bounce back, take care of the weekend's result."

This afternoon's clash with the Foxes, who will be going all out for the victory themselves in their hopes of finishing in the top-four, will almost certainly mark the final game of Mason's interim tenure, with chairman Daniel Levy determined to have a new head coach in place ahead of the start of next season.

Reflecting on whether or not his time in charge of the team has been a success, Mason continued: "We've still got another game to judge that. I really believe we've made some changes that'll help us go forward.

"In terms of success, we'll see, we'll see what the weekend throws up. The most important people to answer that question are the board, the fans, the players.

"I have my opinions as a coach and as a coaching staff. I believe we've changed some stuff & helped the group. The most important thing in his role is results.

"The other night was a dent, it was tough to take. We need to bounce back, get a good feeling come Sunday evening."

Ahead of the trip to the Midlands, Mason, whose preparations for today's clash at the King Power Stadium have been overshadowed by the speculation concerning Harry Kane's future, has issued relatively good news on the injury front, with only Japhet Tanganga and Ben Davies unavailable for selection.

Tanganga, who has started Spurs' last two matches, will miss out with an ankle problem, whilst Welsh international Davies is still recovering from a shinbone problem.

Japhet and Ben are the only two at the moment," Mason confirmed, issuing an update on the latest on the injury front.

"Japhet sustained a naughty ankle injury I think to his ligament so he won't feature at the weekend and hopefully it isn't too long for him out. Ben resumed some light training today [Friday] so they're the only two at the moment who aren't available for selection."

Elsewhere, the likes of Giovani Lo Celso, Gareth Bale and Tanguy Ndombele will be pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.

Full Tottenham squad available to face Leicester City:

Goalkeepers: Hugo Lloris, Joe Hart & Alfie Whiteman.

Defenders: Matt Doherty, Serge Aurier, Marcel Lavinier, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, Joe Rodon, Sergio Reguilon & Dennis Cirkin.
