Full Tottenham squad for Sheffield United clash revealed

After more than a week without a game, it is back to action for Tottenham tonight (Thursday) as they take on Sheffield United in the Premier League.

Tottenham have had a relatively successful restart to their league campaign, picking up four points from their opening two matches, the polar opposite to their opponents, who have drawn one and lost three of their four games in all competitions since the restart.

However, both teams may see tonight’s game as an opportunity to close the gap on the top four, with both Chelsea and Leicester earlier in the week.

All three points could take Tottenham up to seventh place in the table, above north London rivals Arsenal.

Premier League preview: Sheff Utd v Tottenham

With a run of four games in just 10 days, Jose Mourinho will be looking to have as many players available as possible.

Ahead of the match at Bramall Lane, Tottenham have no fresh injury concerns.

Juan Foyth is out of action due to a knee injury, with Mourinho saying that he could be sidelined for the remainder of the season. It is a similar prognosis for Japhet Tanganga, who is suffering with a back injury.

Striker Troy Parrott was a concern after undergoing an operation to remove his appendix but could be in contention to make the bench, with Mourinho confirming that everyone but Foyth and Tanganga are fit, training and ready to play.

Full Tottenham squad: Hugo Lloris, Paulo Gazzaniga, Michel Vorm, Alfie Whiteman, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies, Serge Aurier, Eric Dier, Olier Skip, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Gedson Fernandes, Ryan Sessegnon, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Harry Kane, Troy Parrott.
