Full-sized Harry Potter maze coming to Northumberland - here's where and when

Young wizards, witches and muggles can explore a full-sized Harry Potter maze as part of an event celebrating the boy wizard.

Events themed around the famous Triwizard Tournament - a magical contest held between the three largest wizarding schools in Europe - will take place at libraries across Northumberland next month.

They have been organised as part of Harry Potter Book Night that sees fans congregate every February to celebrate the iconic series.

The magic will start with The Blythwizard Tournament at Blyth Library on February 4, where youngsters can find their way around the life sized maze.

They can also test their knowledge in the Harry Potter Triwizard quiz and have a selfie taken with the Triwizard Champions.

On February 6, people can test their magical knowledge by taking part in quizzes at Cramlington and Prudhoe Libraries.

At Hexham Library there will be a special Triwizard Tournament party on Saturday, February 8.

There will also be drop in crafts and activities taking place at Ashington Library, where youngsters can use their creative skills to make a Hogwarts Collage.

All libraries across Northumberland will have a selection of Harry Potter themed activity sheets.
