Shikhar Dhawan as the star as he smashed a record 190 on the opening day of the Galle Test. This was the left-hander’s highest individual Test score and he was well backed up by Cheteshwar Pujara, who slammed his 12th century. The 253-run stand between Dhawan and Pujara helped India reach 399/3 at stumps on day 1. For Sri Lanka, Nuwan Pradeep picked up all the three wickets to fall.
