Full Liverpool squad available for Everton clash as Jurgen Klopp handed selection headache

Liverpool return to Premier League action tonight as they take on Everton at Goodison Park.

The Reds come into the 239th Merseyside derby on the back of a comfortable 4-0 victory over Southampton at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sit third in the Premier League table, two points behind leaders Chelsea heading into tonight’s game.

While Rafa Benitez’s side have now gone seven matches without picking up three points and currently find themselves five points above the relegation zone.

Liverpool have no new injury worries for the game, but will still be without Joe Gomez, Naby Keita, Roberto Firmino, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott at Goodison.

"Joe is in a really good moment," Klopp said on Tuesday afternoon. "He is doing really well, he is doing a lot of stuff outside, so hopefully next week he can be in training.

"I hope the same for Naby, pretty much – that he will be in training next week as well, but there's no news."

Before he continued: "There's no real update [on Curtis], so we have to wait.

“Bobby is good but he is still a couple of weeks away from being fully back, but he is doing pretty much everything. Just with the extent of the injury we have to be careful, but it's all fine."

And below is the full squad of players the Liverpool boss is likely to have for tonight's game.

Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Caoimhin Kelleher, Adrian.

Defenders: Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Neco Williams, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Nat Phillips, Kostas Tsimikas.

Midfielders: Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Tyler Morton.

Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino.

While Everton are set to be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Yerry Mina, Tom Davies and Mason Holgate for the clash.

But Andre Gomes has returned to training and Richarlison is available again after missing the defeat to Brentford at the weekend through suspension.

"The group of players are the same but Andre Gomes is training," Benitez said. "Dominic, Yerry Mina and Davies are not available but at least we have players training regularly and that is a great advantage for the future."
