Full Liverpool squad available for Arsenal clash as Jurgen Klopp faces midfield decision

Liverpool have an opportunity to get their title challenge back on track against Arsenal on Saturday.

Having drawn with Brighton and lost to West Ham in their two most recent games, prior to the international break, Liverpool currently sit four points off top spot.

Arsenal arrive at Anfield in good form as the Gunners have put together a 10-game unbeaten run since losing their opening three league games of the season.

Jurgen Klopp will be determined to get back to winning ways this weekend, though the break in league action has provided the Reds boss with more problems than he would have anticipated.

Sadio Mane was the first player to provide an injury scare for Liverpool, after being substituted for Senegal and subsequently going for scans on a rib injury, but the forward has been declared fit to face Arsenal.

Captain Jordan Henderson was also sent home early from England duty, while Andy Robertson went down for Scotland against Denmark earlier this week.

With Naby Keita and James Milner already ruled out against Arsenal, Curtis Jones is another who will join them on the sidelines after suffering what Klopp described as a “freak” eye injury in training .

There will also be caution around Fabinho’s recovery time, having only recently returned from international duty with Brazil - and the Liverpool boss addressed these concerns in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“So, Hendo and Robbo not trained with the team yet, recovery/rehab stuff. Pretty close, a late decision,” he said .

"Sadio is good. Fab came back late and did a recovery session. I hope he can train today, that's the plan.

"Curtis we take it day by day. Harvey is doing really well but there is some time between now and when he can start again. Joe Gomez is doing well, Bobby doing well, needs time."

Having discussed the players who are unavailable for the game against Arsenal, here’s a look at the full squad Jurgen Klopp is likely to have to choose from:

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher, Adrian

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Neco Williams, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Nat Phillips, Kostas Tsimikas

Midfielders: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Tyler Morton

Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino

Andy Robertson (TBC), Jordan Henderson (TBC).
