Full list of UK's top restaurants announced at AA Hospitality Awards 2022

The UK’s best restaurants, chefs and their teams across England, Scotland and Wales have been revealed at the AA Hospitality Awards in a glittering ceremony in London. The in-person ceremony - the first time in three years - was hosted by TV presenter Gabby Logan.

The AA awards honoured the best hospitality establishments in the UK. Restaurants and hotels were judged across 26 categories including Restaurant of the Year and Chefs’ Chef.

The four Restaurant of the Year Awards went to Socius (England), Chez Bruce (London), Gem 42 (Wales) and The Cellar (Scotland). Three winners of Restaurant with Rooms were The Angel (England), Crug Glâs (Wales) and The Bonnie Badger (Scotland).

Mark Birchall (Moor Hall) was crowned Chef’s Chef of the Year by his peers. Previous winners include critically acclaimed chefs Jason Atherton, Raymond Blanc, Michel Roux and Heston Blumenthal.

Hélène Darroze at The Connaught was recognised as the UK restaurant with the best customer service, winning the Food Service Award. Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester and Lympstone Manor Hotel were runners-up.
