Full list of stalls at Durham 'Food Pit', plus opening hours

A new food hall serving up street food from around the world has opened in Durham city centre - but what can you expect?

Designed to showcase the region's best street food scene, there are seven stalls at The Food Pit on The Riverwalk.

Customers can enjoy gourmet burgers, fish and chips, waffles and a taste of the Med.

Here are the stalls you can enjoy:

British Gourmet Burgers

If burgers take your fancy, this street food stall has a wide variety on sale.

Fish & Chips

A traditional fish and chip stalls that serves up all the classics.

Manao Thai

Authentic Thai cuisine serving classic curry dishes to dim sum.

Durham Sausage Company

Gourmet hand crafted sausages that are made using County Durham ingredients.

You can tuck into a range of dishes, including a giant toad in the hole, meatball bombs and a butchers platter.

Bojangles Coffee House

Serving hots drinks, bagel sandwiches and sweet treats.

All bagels are vegan and have a range of fillings, including Coronation Curried Chickpea (also vegan).

Another choice is the chicken, grilled pineapple and spicy mayo bagel.

Enjoy all types of traditional Mediterranean food, including Halloumi stacks, beer battered Halloumi fries and Shawarma (chicken marinated in mild spices)

Thursday to Saturday: 10am - 12.30am
