England was plunged into its third national lockdown last night with all non-essential retailers ordered to close.
According to the Government's website this means the closure of clothing and homeware stores, vehicle showrooms, betting shops, tailors, tobacco and vape shops, electronic goods and mobile phone stores, auction houses and market stalls selling non-essential goods.
Non-essential retail can remain open for delivery to customers and click-and-collect.
Other businesses such as restaurants, bars, gyms, cinemas, swimming pools, bingo halls, indoor play, bowling alleys and more have also closed.
