Full list of businesses that can reopen on Monday - including outdoor pools

Outdoor swimming pools, tennis, golf courses and more will be allowed to reopen on Monday.

The scheduled relaxation of restrictions is the second part of Boris Johnson's lockdown exit plan.

It will also see the return of the Rule of Six, meaning six people - or two households - can mingle outdoors.

The first stage of the Prime Minister's lockdown roadmap took place on March 8, when schools reopened and Brits were allowed to meet up with a friend outdoors.

From Monday, businesses with outdoor sports facilities will be allowed to reopen, meaning tennis, basketball and even archery are all back on the cards.

Water sport venues, swimming pools, riding centres, climbing walls and driving and shooting ranges will also be able to reopen outside.

Indoor sport centres, including gyms, will not be allowed to welcome customers back until April 12, while exercise classes inside are banned until mid-May.

Non-essential shops are expected to finally reopen from April 12, alongside hairdressers and barbers.

Pubs will also be able to serve punters outdoors from this date.

All restrictions will finally be lifted from June 21, with nightclubs planning huge two-day parties to celebrate the event.

Fabric in London is planning a 12-hour party on June 25, followed by a 30-hour bash on June 26.

Meanwhile fellow London nightclub The Cause has organised a separate two-day bonanza on June 25.

Labour MP Jeff Smith, chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the Night-Time Economy, told The Mirror: “It’s great to see our top nightclubs planning to bounce back with a bang as soon as they can do so safely.

"Clearly there is a huge amount of demand, with people from all walks of life excited to let their hair down after such a difficult year.

“This is a good example of the vital role nightlife businesses will play in the UK’s recovery from Covid – not only economically, but in terms of helping people connect with friends, celebrate milestones, feel normal and enjoy themselves again.”
