The list of active 'speed on green' cameras running across Merseyside has been revealed - and these are the places you could get caught.
It was reported earlier this year that Merseyside Police had identified 13 spots in the region which could potentially be used for the cameras.
They not only detect when a driver has jumped a red traffic light signal, but also record the speed of those vehicles travelling above the speed limit through the junction, regardless of the colour of the traffic light signal.
Merseyside Police disclosed the list after the ECHO submitted a Freedom of Information request asking for every location across Merseyside .
But at the time the force confirmed that only the cameras in Sefton were active at the beginning of the year pending a trial.
They have now confirmed that more cameras have been brought into use, with two other boroughs in the region now also having cameras at key junctions - but not everywhere on the original list is included.
