McDonald's has announced it is today (June 17) reopening walk-in restaurants at 11 motorway service stations.
They include Roadchef stations on the M5 at Taunton Deane, southbound, and Strensham in Worcestershire, southbound.
The fast food chain restaurant has recently reopened more than 1000 restaurant drive-thrus across the UK, including 10 in Bristol.
And now the plan is to reopen branches for takeaway and delivery with the plan to have restaurant areas open again for walk-in from June 24.
But first a pilot scheme is being run at 11 motorway service stations where the public can walk in for a takeaway service.
There will, however, be serving a limited menu over reduced hours.

And the company has a number of safety measures in place.
These includes perspex screens, floor markings, gloves for customer facing employees and face coverings are just some of the measures introduced to keep customers and staff safe.
A spokesman said: "We’re delighted to be back. Thank you for your continued support and patience."
