Full list of McDonald's restaurants in Scotland fully reopening from today

McDonald’s has published a list of Scots restaurants that will be fully open from today as lockdown restrictions ease further.

The fast food chain was forced to close both in-store dining and walk-in takeaway as the coronavirus pandemic took hold once again at the beginning of the year.

Customers have only been able to collect their favourite food items via the firm’s app or through the Drive-Thru.

But the majority of McDonald’s branches will once again open as normal as Scotland moves into level three lockdown restrictions.

Scots will be able to order takeaway and dine in inside as the country moves to level three lockdown restrictions (SWNS)

All restaurants will operate with table service only, with some branches limiting seating to accommodate social distancing.

Customers are encouraged to order their meals through the My McDonald’s App to ensure people remain seated as much as possible.

Scots should also wear a face covering whenever they enter their chosen branch in line with Scottish Government regulations.

A spokesperson for McDonald’s said: “Since January, we have introduced a number of changes to our safety procedures, including the introduction of visors as well as face coverings for customer facing employees, revised guidance and processes for our couriers to support their safe working and enhanced processes for managing customer and courier flow in restaurants.

The firm said that it has changed a number of safety measures at stores (PA)

“The wellbeing of our people, as well as our suppliers, couriers and customers remains our top priority, and we would like to thank our customers for their continued support and patience as our restaurant teams adjust to these new way of working.”
