Full list of KFC and Burger King restaurants reopening for delivery in the UK

Fast food giants KFC and Burger King have announced they will reopen selected stores in the UK during the coronavirus crisis.

While both restaurants closed their doors across the country following government advice last month, KFC and Burger King have chosen to reopen certain restaurants for delivery only, reports Wales Online.

None of the restaurants, however, are in Merseyside.

KFC announced it would be operating on a limited basis, with a smaller-than-usual menu to help staff adhere to workplace social distancing rules.

Diners can place their KFC orders on Deliveroo and delivery will be contactless to limit the risk to customers and drivers.

A spokesman for KFC said: "Over the last week, we've reopened 11 of our restaurants in the UK.

"They're open for delivery only and are serving a limited menu, operated by fewer team members with new procedures in place to help ensure we're following social distancing guidelines.

"There's still a need for affordable, accessible food at this time - so we want to do our part."

The company added that the list of stores reopening could grow in the coming weeks.

KFC restaurants that have reopened in the UK include:

  • Manchester (Deansgate)

  • Manchester (Hulme)

  • Stockport (Heaton Chapel)

  • Birmingham (New Oscott)

  • Tamworth

  • Portsmouth

  • Aldershot, Hampshire

  • Ipswich (Cardinal Park)

  • Glasgow (Pollokshaws Road)

  • Glasgow (Great Western Retail Park)

  • Enfield (Coliseum Retail Park)

Burger King is reopening just four stores beginning tomorrow, April 17.

The stores reopening include two in Bristol, one in Coventry and one in Swindon.

All four locations will serve a very limited menu, with only a few classic items available for purchase.

A spokesperson for Burger King said: "We hope that re-opening these restaurants for delivery services goes some way to lifting our customers’ spirits in these difficult times."

Additional locations may be added to the list in the coming weeks.
